Nintendo may be developing a new WarioWare game. The company appears to hint at the possibility of a new entry in the long-running series and even hinted at a possible price that seemed to be geared at bringing WarioWare-style titles to the Nintendo Switch.
Nintendo recently produced a WarioWare game for the Nintendo 3DS in 2018, capping a 15-year journey that included ten iterations and six platforms. Since that game's debut, the corporation has remained largely silent on whether or not it plans to bring the franchise to its newest console. Now it looks that the company is considering doing just that.
Twitch user Beta64, a well-known Nintendo fan, tweeted out a survey he claimed the firm had recently sent out on Tuesday evening. It was an official survey, according to the user. While it's unclear how many questions or themes were addressed in the poll, Beta64 focused on one that asked about interest in a new WarioWare game.
The company specifically asked poll participants if they would be interested in playing a brand new WarioWare game. The consumers were also asked if they would be prepared to spend $49.99 for the next game on the form. While that price may likely be a Nintendo DS game, Beta64 speculated that the form might be announcing a Nintendo Switch reveal at E3.
Nintendo hasn't said much about what it will show off at E3 this summer, but it is organizing its presentation. Some in the gaming world have interpreted this as a sign that it has some important news to announce. According to the corporation, the majority of the products the company expects to show off during the event will be available later this year.
The most anticipated item for most Nintendo fans is a new Switch model, which is expected to debut around or during E3 this year. This latest iteration dubbed the Switch Pro for a long time is likely to be more potent than the current version. Various leaks from retailers over the previous few weeks seemed to have confirmed the arrival of a new Switch console. It would make sense for this new console to be accompanied by some brand new launch titles, which may include the 11th installment in the WarioWare series.
